Því ég segi að það er ekki cool

Vegna þess að rómantík er til þess að tala um ástir og ástarsorg, ekki til þess að tilfinningarlaus fífl komi og geri grín að tilfinningum þinum…

Útaf þau hafa góða ástæðu til þess að vera sorgmædd?
Og eru ekki allan daginn hugsandi um að skera sig…
Þau(flest) hata ekki allt, alla og lífið…

Ekkert sem ég hef á móti svoleiðis fólki, það má alveg vera eins og það er í friði, bara ekki vera að bera þetta tvent mikið saman =/

Lestu þetta sem ég skrifaði til einhvers fólks sem var að segja að hljómsveitir sem ég hlusta á væru emo, og emo FÓLK sukka. Argh.. pirrrrrrrar mig.

Emo hljómsveit og emo fólk er bara ekki það sama!

Yes. They fall under rock. Since people have labelled them emo when they are actually just all kinds of rock types. Some are mixed with other like:
(This is what they label themselves as)
Panic! At The Disco: Rock / Big Beat / Techno
My Chemical Romance: Rock / Metal / Post Hardcore

And so what if people call them emo, that is nothing wrong with bands being emo, it's just a music style like, pop, punk, rock, ska… they are just the ‘modern emo’ since emo music has been around for ages.
Emo music and emo people are totally different.
Emo music has existed for ages, emo people haven't, they are just called emo because of the bands they liked were under the categorie (sp?) emo. So I don't know why people that do not like emo people, hate emo music because that is good music with talented artists but people are so naive that they also hate the bands because of the emo people and what they are supposed to be and act like, and label the people that listen to that emo because this is so called ‘emo music’ but they can't do that because it's not the same thing! This is absolutely absurd. [And really confusing now that I have read what I wrote]

And I don't know why ‘nomal’ people (And some “emos”) started to say that emo people are depressed and cut themselves and how sad that is…. cause there are “REAL” people that actually do that, that are not “emo”. They just need help, the aren't emo and can't help it, some have just a little messed up mind. Sure, emo people might listen to songs that you can call hardcore or depressing and actually sound something like this: ‘You could slit my thoat but with my one last gasping breath I´d apologize for bleeding on your shirt’.

I actually haven't known about 1 kid that has died or something because of that, some might think it's cool to slit their own wrists. But majority doesn't. Some just want to look “emo” cause they think it's cool, believe me, I know loads of them. Some even before they turned “emo”.

Infact, I'm always hearing about rap guys getting killed, or killing each other, there was this guy who died in a shooting recently, someone that Eminem knew, I'm not sure but I think he was in D-12. Why not stop that “emo” nonsense cause thats mostly made up so you can bring them down and laugh at them/beat them up. And actually start to do something about the rap scene. In my honest opinion I think they need more help than “emos” do. And apparantly, they are other f****** pimps, hahaha, and yeah, they also like drugs. - Not what I said. Heard that from songs.

I also think that emos look big at themselves and think that they are oh so cool. Because they are emo. Which doesn't necessarily (sp?) make them them cool. They are also self centered and narrow and need to get a grip of reality, not everything is made out of makeup and tight clothes.

I do not love emo people, I love ‘modern emo’ music.

Hver fukkurinner emo eiginlega? Ég er búinn að heyra þetta orð svo óeðlilega oft, en aldrei fattað hvað það merkir.

Og fólk þarf að byrja að fatta að þótt að maður hlusti á einhverja tónlistarstefnu þá þarf maður ekki endilega að vera steríótýpan sjálf fyrir þá tónlistarstefnu.
Ég hlusta á emo, ég er ekki nálægt því að vera emo. Ég hlusta líka á metal, samt er ég ekki metalhaus. Ég get alveg hlustað á hip-hop, samt er ég ekki skoppari.
Fólk má aðeins hugsa sig um áður en það fer að dæma manneskju út frá einhverri einni hljómsveit sem maður hlustar á.
