“Dear diary, today we have been widening the entrance which we found last night. Hank has been talking about getting an excavator team to the site and i must say i agree with that. Im not as young as i used to be and this heavy work has taken its toll on me and its not even supper yet. As far as I know this is the first settlement of Chicewa Indians that I find that has a stone structure, usually they made structures out of clay and wood, but im sure this is where the last generation lived. This discovery is sure gonna quiet Andrew down, he has been against this excavation from the begining, talking about that this is a waste of time. Well hopefully we will get our answers tomorrow about the structure, the stone pillars and the obsidian stone fragments which we have found at the site. This is sure exciting.”
