
Fyrsti þáttur seríunnar var sýndur í Bandaríkjunum síðustu viku og voru hvorki meira né minna en 14.3 milljónir manns sem horfðu á hann. Vilja margir meina að Heroes gæti hugsanlega orðið “Lost” þáttaröð NBC.
You've got a character in the creative arts addicted to heroin, a sweet girl who's on the run from the law (with a mysteriously precocious child), a smart, articulate man from the Middle East and an Asian character who speaks with subtitles. Only it seems like they wanted to make them more friendly, so instead of Iraq and Korea, they're from India and Japan. And the sweet girl couldn't help committing the murder, it was her mirror image.
Oh, I forgot one more BIG one. Remember the shot of the Walt-esque kid reading a comic book? That one was just blatant.
That said, they're not copping Lost's style, they're stealing concepts from Lost and using them in their own slick, polished form. It's almost like the creators got a note from the network to make the show like Lost, but with some differences in style and substance they thought would make it more accessible.
