As the show's name implies, the new group was to be called Supernova; however, another band named Supernova was granted an injunction against the band from Rock Star stating that they cannot use the name “Supernova” for any promotion or perform under that name. It is unclear what the future holds for the band created by this show, as they can no longer use the name they intended.Held að það séu bara orðrómar um hvað nafnið verði.
