the short answer:
DCA is an open, eclectic community with a common interest in making music through remote network collaborations. Not discussing music, not reviewing music. Just making it.
There is no predefined styles, techniques or genres - and no assumed level of knowledge. This is for experimentation and learning. The only prerequisit is a soundcard, a modem and an open mind.
Before registering, none of the current community had previously worked together, nor met in physical reality. From such exotic locations as Boston, Reykjavik, Glasgow, London, Nottingham and Cornwall - and with equally exotic musical backgrounds - the last 5 months have proved that this type of artistic relationship is both possible, and a good laugh to boot.
The resulting collaborations will be streamed from our internet radio broadcast - with the hope of developing into a unique independent label, releasing hi-fi shortlists of the community output.
