DDO wins a BAFTA Award!06-Oct-2006Last night, DDO was awarded best multiplayer game by The British Academy of Film and Television Arts, the UK's leading organization dedicated to the recognition and promotion of excellence in the fields of the moving image.
DDO was up against some stiff competition including:
2006 FIFA World Cup (Electronic Sports/EA Canada)
Animal Crossing: Wild World (Nintendo/Nintendo)
Battlefield 2: Modern Combat (EA Games/Digital Illusions)
Guild Wars Factions (NCsoft/ArenaNet)
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (Ubisoft/Ubisoft Paris)
Taking the award for best multiplayer game from amongst such great opponents is wonderful recognition for DDO. Congratulations to everyone involved!
