GFLOPS performance (billions of floating operations per second):

VU1: 3.1
DC : 1.49 (I cant remember the exact number for the DC, but its no higher than this…..and may be somewhere between 1.2 to 1.3 GFLOPS….but its definitely no higher than the stated value)


GIPS performance (billions of 32 bit intergers calculated per second

VU1: 2.4 GIPS
DC : .36 GIPS (or 360 MIPS)


Geometric Transformations per second:

VU1: 66 million
DC : 10 million


As you can see, VU1 alone is more powerful than the entire DC……….hopefully this will give you an idea of how much raw horse power the entirety of the EE has…….. Prove me wrong…
