A.I. Preview Sets Record In Japan

A preview showing of Steven Spielberg's A.I. in Japan Saturday night earned $2.6 million at the box office – an all-time record, according to Daily Variety. It beat out the previous champ, Star Wars: Episode 1: The Phantom Menace by 14 percent, the trade paper said.
