Hei Mathaus. I want to congratulate you for putting the time, effort (and money?) into buying and importing this bike. This offer should give someone a great bike for stupidly low amount of money.

I want to reply to you because I feel like you have not heard the whole story (from my point of view at least).

It starts when Torfik sets up this this ad selling the bike (Glory DH right?) and tells the selling price witch is about $3500, and from what I understand deliverd in Iceland (not having to pay any shipping or taxes after the bike has been bought). Now that raises some questions since this type of bike retails for about $5000, now he said that is was used but the price drop is just to much. So bjarkiv10 asked if it was stolen or what? since he could not belive the price tag put on it. I replyed to him telling that I could belive that since just the frame should have that price tag. Then Torfik and gustijr replyed telling that the bike was not stolen and it would have papers with them certifying that they had been bought legally. That convinced me and I thanked them for clearing that out.

Then after that there are some replyes from people that seem like they have not read all the replyes and the replyes they have read all wrong. I am not gonna get into that right now since it is late, but if you want to I will be happy to tell it from my point of view.

As you said: “If somebody has any doubts, please talk to me.”, we had our doubts so we asked (did not know at the time who to ask so we asked here), but we NEVER said that it was stolen or something like that.

I just wanted to clear the air about this because I do not want people telling that I have said things that I have never said.

Ég var ekki að gagnrýna hann fyrir að sleppa því (ef hann er yfir höfuð að gera það), ég var bara að benda á að þetta væri eina mögulega leiðin til að sleppa við skatt og toll. Ég hef ekkert á mótið því og vona að ég muni einhvertíman spara mér pening. Varðandi pappírana þá er ég búinn að hrósa honum fyrir að láta pappírana fylgja, það eru ekki allir sem myndu gera það, en eins og MJÖG oft áður þá lesiði ekki alla póstana og vitið því ekki alla söguna.

Ég var ekkert að gagnrýna hann fyrir að fara þessa leið (ef hann er yfir höfuð að fara þessa leið), heldur var ég bara að benda á að þetta er eina leiðin til að sleppa við toll og skatt. Ég vona bara að ég geti einhvertíman sparað mér smá pening. Þú hefur greinilega ekki lesið alla póstana því ég er búinn að hrósa honum fyrir að láta pappírana fylgja. Það er greinilega alltof algengt að fólk lesi ekki alla póstana og byrji síðan að rífast um eitthvað sem búið er að koma á hreint.
