Hérna er þá framhald, og líka það sem ég sendi sem svar við hinni greininni, ég vona að þið njótið :).
Harry wasn't just going to stand there like some trained puppy, waiting for
Voldemort to put on a big show and kill him, no, he had
to do something… but what? He didn't have his wand, Voldemort was too far to jump on and have a fist-fight with him, so what was there to do? Evade Voldemort's curses? That would just delay the inevidable and give the death-eaters a good laugh.
Should he try to jump out of the window? It too, was
too far away, and Harry didn't know what was on the other side of
it (it was quite dark there). He had been hoping
that Fawkes would notice his loyal thoughts to Dumbledore before, but
he did not know well enough how that worked, did he have to say
something loyal? Had his thoughts not been loyal?
Had Fawkes sensed that he was partly thinking those thoughts
just so he would come? It seemed to Harry that his only remaining
hope was to wait and try to put up a brave face.
“Let's begin with some pain for you, shall we?” Voldemort
said, and yelled: “Crucio!”, and, once again a terrible pain overtook
every inch of Harry's body and mind very suddenly, and it felt to Harry
as he was much longer under the curse now than he had ever been before,
his only thought was “STOP!STOP!STOP!”, but he did not scream, he was
determined not to scream, and finally after what seemed like an
eternity of pain, Voldemort lifted his wand's and laughed loudly,
heartily, for a long time, and the death-eaters joined
him as Harry sat on his knees, bathed in his own cold sweat. He still
was trying hard to put up a brave, fearless face.
“You may kill me, but you will die soon, Dumbledore will not let you
live if you kill me, he will hunt you down with more ambishion and rage
than ever before, he and all the members of the Order will kill you,
the staff of Hogwart's will not stand for your actions, the Ministry
is not going to rest until you are killed, my friends will be
filled with more hatred and rage to kill you than you have
ever known, you don't really think that you can survive all of their
attempts, do you? And I'm not afraid of
death, I know it will lead to your destruction, so I'm actually almost
pleased” Harry lied about one thing, he was afraid, but he stood on
both feet with his head up and a determined, fearless expression on his
face, he knew those may very well have been his last words, and he
thought that he chose them quite wisely.
“Touching last words, Potter,” Voldemort said sarcasticly “but you may
be forgetting some things, for instance, I have made more people hate
me than any wizard in wizarding history, and I'm still alive 70 years
after I was born, so, you see, your friends hatred is about as
frightening to me as a housefly, and as for Dumbledore, his powers are
nothing compared to mine, and the Ministry is very determined to get me
as it is, and a little extra determination is hardly gonna matter much,
the Order has often suffered losses of loved ones, and they still have
not got me, also the staff of Hogwart's was already mad at me for
killing that Cedric Diggory boy, and losing you will only add to that,
so, you might see that you have little more meaning for my enemies
attempts to kill me than any other murder I have performed”
”I know you’re just an orphan growing up in hatred of your
father, choosing the evil way out of things,“ Harry said, ”whereas I,
living in opression from my muggle-relatives, chose the good way out
of things. You see, I think you were right when you talked from your
diary in my second year, when you said we were very much alike, but
there is one difference between us, one that will be very important tonight: I am good, and you are bad“
37. Chapter
The prophecy fulfilled
”Did I not teach you anything in your first year, Potter?“ Voldemort
said, ”there is no good and evil, only power, and those too weak to seek
it, remember?“
”I remember, but you are wrong“ Harry said, ”there is good and bad,
you are bad, because you kill and hurt innocent people, I
am good, because I try to safe innocent people,
is that simple enough for you?And do you know
what makes us good or bad? Our choice, that is what Dumbledore tought
me, I think he is a much better teacher than you“ Harry said.
”Well, no matter, my goal is not to teach you, my goal is
to kill you, and that is what I would like to start doing…
Av…AAAAAAAAGGHR!!“ Voldemort bellowed as the window
broke with very much commosion, bits of glass flew towards the
death-eaters and Voldemort, and in the window came the most beautiful
sight Harry could remember seeing, Dumbledore sat on the back of
buckbeak with Fawkes on his shoulder and Neville, Hermione,
Ginny, and Ron holding a painting behind him, Dumbledore jumped out
in front of buckbeak, with his wand raised and a determined, angry
look on his face as Fawkes flew up in the air and circled around, Hermione, Ginny, Ron and Neville jumped out, two on each side, and Ron put the painting, which
Harry now recognized as Sirius's to the wall, and they all raised their
wand's as buckbeak went back into air and hovered slightly above them.
They were very threatening and reasurring, but that wonderfull feeling
Harry had, soon vanished as he turned his head, all of the
death-eaters, and it looked like there were at least 50 of them, had
theire wand's raised and Voldemort had stood up with his wand raised,
although it seemed like their surprise entrance had bought Dumbledore
and the others time to get in position, it seemed to Harry that theire
chances of winning were pretty slim.
***
”Harry, climb onto Buckbeak“ Dumbledore said without unclenching the
hand that held his wand or looking away from Voldemort.
”Oh, no, Dumbledore, Potter stays“ Voldemort said calmly.
”You are arrogant, Tom, he is coming with me, and you are not going anywhere“ Dumbledore said.
”Well, the fact that we are 56 against 6 and 2 birds gives me some
arrogance.“ Voldemort said.
”Well, if you were as confident as you act like you are, I assume you
would already have killed us.“ Dumbledore said.
”What's wrong with wanting a little chat with my old teacher?
I remember you were the only one who did not give me an A in my sixth
year's end-of-year exams, that mightn't have anything to do with me
framing that big bufoon, Hagrid, would it?“ Voldemort said and laughed.
”I saw through you, unlike the other teachers, therefore,
I was more demanding in the review.. also you were quite bad in
transfiguration“ Dumbledore answered calmly. Why was he going along
with Voldemort's joke? Harry thought.
”Your idea of quite bad was leaving a hairless spot on pigs
transfered into hippogriffins.“ Voldemort answered just as calmly.
”It still had a snout.“ Dumbledore said.
”Well, I still always thought you were the most demanding teacher,
besides all that knowing-i-was-a-murderer thing.“ Voldemort said.
”But you were too late, your little suspicions didn’t stop me from being where I am today, I am Lord Voldemort, the most powerful wizard this world has ever known since Salazar Slytherin, and no one can stand in my way" and as he
said those words, in came another sight which Harry loved to see,
in the window, Hagrid, Lupin, Charlie Weasley, Tonks, McGonagal and
Snape on the back of Norbert, and flying beside him was Hedwig.
