Meet Nick Boynton, No. 44 who joined the Boston Bruins at the trading deadline. The 23-year-old Boynton, in his third pro season, stands at 6-foot-2 and 210 pounds. He started out with a whopping plus-81 total for Ottawa in ‘96-’97. After 80 games in the Black ‘n Gold this season, Boynton’s totals were a respectable 4-14-28 with a plus-18 rating. Those totals compared favorably to the rest of the Bruins more experienced defensemen.
