Núna rétt í þessu var staðfest að Ísland fengi að taka þátt í næsta season af European Nations Championship.

Ísland er sett í low seeds sem er skiljanlegt þarsem það er tekið viðmið við fyrri afrek hjá landsliðinu og því miður höfum við ekki verið að hampa neinu gulli í gegnum tíðina.
Það sem kom mér á óvart hinsvegar er að Noregur er með okkur í low seeds, sem ég skil ekki alveg.

Á morgun verður dregið í riðla og verður 1 high seed, 1 mid seed og 2 low seeds í riðli. 2 lið komast áfram á næsta stig.

4.1.2. Groupstage 2
The six first and the six second placed teams then have to play eachother after being seeded/drawn into 2 groups of 6. The first placed team is qualified for the finals. The second and third placed teams have to play a relegation match to determine the third and fourth team going to the finals.

4.1.3 Relegation
The second placed team has to play versus the third placed team of the other group in a best-of-three match. The winning team is qualified for the finals. If any of the matches are a tie, an overtime will be played. See gamespecific rules for details.
