Disabling the Direct Input/Open GL Detection
If you are using MouseWare button assignments and do not want EM_EXEC.EXE to be disabled while playing a game, you can disable the detection process by adding the following entry in the registry.
IMPORTANT NOTE: For information about how to edit the registry, view the ”Changing Keys And Values“, and ”Restoring the registry", using the on line Help topic in the Registry Editor (REGEDIT.EXE).
WARNING: Using the Registry Editor incorrectly may cause symptoms requiring a reinstallation of Windows. Logitech cannot guarantee that issues resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use the Registry Editor at your own discretion. The Registry Editor should only be used to make the following modifications:
Click Start, Run and type REGEDIT in the open command line.
Click OK.
Open the Registry Editor and find the registry key below:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software\\Logitech\\MouseWare\\CurrentVersion\\Technical

Type UseLGGameScheme and hit [enter].
Right click on the UseLGGameScheme and chose “Edit String Value.”
Type Off and hit [enter].
Exit the registry editor; your changes are automatically saved.
Close EM_EXEC.EXE.
Click Start, then Run.
Enter the following line into the “RUN” command line:
