LORDZ OF THE UNDERGROUND Þessi hljómsveit hefur ekki verið mikið í sviðsljósinni síðustu misseri, þannig að ég ætla að koma með smá fróðleik um þessa stórgóðu hljómsveit

——————-

Once hailed as the industry's best rap act, Lordz of the Underground started performing together while attending Shaw University in North Carolina. MCs Doitall and Mr. Funke hail from Newark, NJ, and later hooked up with DJ Lord Jazz. Their sound was remarkably reminiscent of their East Coast counterparts, Das Efx - full of double-syllable rhymes and underground mentions.
The trio was later introduced to producer Marley Marl, who helped them line up studio time for their first album. Here Come the Lords appeared in 1993, nearly going gold, and was followed by 1994's Keepers of the Funk. In 1999, their third album, Ressurection came out through their own label, Jersey Kidz Records.
