Shia Shaide LaBeouf fæddist 11. Júní 1986 í Los angeles, Caleforníu. Þegar Shia var níu ára byrjaði hann með uppistand í kaffi klúbbum, foreldrar hanns hljálpuðu honum með atriðið sitt, en þegar mamma hanns sagði honum að fá sér umboðsmann fékk hann aðeins stærri hlutverk eins og í LA comedy club og Jay Leno.

Þegar Shia var tólf ára fékk hann hlutverk í Breakfast with Einstein og það sama ár einnig í myndinni The Christmas Path og gesta hluverk í þáttunum Caroline in the city. Eftir það fékk hann mikið af gestahlutverkum í þáttum eins og Jesse, Suddenly Susan, Touched by an Angel, The X-Files, Freaks and Geeks og ER.
Árið 2000 fékk Shia svo stórt hluverk í þáttum á Disney channel sem hétu Even Stevens.

Fyrsta stórmyndin hans var fyrr á þessu ári í myndinni Holes á móti Jon Voight og Sigourney Weaver. Á eftir Holes fylgdu aukahlutverk í When Harry Met Floyd: Dumb and Dumberer og Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.

Shia var tilnefndur til Emmy verðlauna fyrir hlutverk sitt í Even Stevens og ég held að hann hafi nýlega verið að vinna einhver verðlaun fyrir hlutverk sitt í Holes. En Shia var nú nýlega að leika í Project greenlight myndinni The battle og shaker hights.
