1.) How Yojimbo decides his attacks:
When it's Yojimbo's turn: whether or not to attack automatically.
If yes:
–> check enemy's Zanmato Lv.:
–> Lv.1: use attacks match to his relationship value.
or
–> Lv. 2 or above: use attacks other than Zanmato that match to his relationship value

If no:
–>check how much you pay:
–>0 Gil: leaves
–>1 Gil or more: deciding whether to use Zanmato depending on how much you have, how much you paid, emeny's Zanmato Lv., relationship value, and motivation value
–>use Zanmato
or
–>deciding attacks other than Zanmato depending on how much you have, how much you paid, enemy's Zanmato Lv., relationship value, and motivation value.

2.) Relationship value:
It ranges between 0 and 255. Normal version starts at 50 while International version starts at 128. (this is why it's much easier to see Zanmato in International version). Also, relationship will change depends on the attack Yojimbo used:

Use Zanmato: +4
Use Wakizashi (all enemies): +3
Use Wakizashi (single enemy): +1
Use Kozuka: +/- 0
Use Daigoro: -1
Choose “Dismiss” after summoning: -3
Yojimbo K.O.: -10
Gave him 0 Gil: -20

3.) Criteria for Yojimbo to attack automatically:
Probability: Relationship value/1024

If he attacks automatically, the result of relationship value/4 (take whole number) plus a random number between 0 and 63 will decide which attack he will use:

Results:
0~31: Daigoro
32~47: Kozuka
48~63: Wakizashi (single emeny)
64~79: Wakizashi (all enemies)
80~ : Zanmato

4.) Yojimbo's attack check:
The result of relationship value plus a random value from 0 to 63 will determine his attack:

0~31: Daigoro
32~47: Kozuka
48~63: Wakizashi (single emeny)
64~79: Wakizashi (all enemies)
