Outage in the UK-landroute
At 14:20 today the landroute connecting the Farice-1 cable from it's landing station in Northern Scotland to London, failed close to the town of Brora. The fiber route in the area is a single route, not part of the recently connected redundant route between Inverness and London. Therefore this outage means a total loss of traffic through the Farice-1 cable system until full repair is finished.
Repairs are not expected to be finished until late this evening.
