Þegar fyrstu fréttir bárust af því að Ford ætlaði að framleiða Ford GT þá voru miklar umræður hér á hugi.is. Þess vegna póstaði ég hér inn inn fyrir nokkru síðan fyrstu dómum gagnrýnenda á nýja Ford GT ofursportbílnum. Í þeim dómi kom fram að Ford GT væri betri en Ferrari 360 Modena.

Nú hefur bandaríska bílatímaritið Car and Driver (januar 2004 heftið) prófað Ford GT og borið hann saman við Porsche 911 GT3 og Ferrari Challenge Stradale. Það er ekki ofsögum sagt að niðurstaðan er frábær fyrir Ford.
