Ég rakst hérna á rewiew um t-sport rolluna í eintaki af Japanease performance sem ég á og þar er 2ZZ-GE vélinni líst þannig:
"It starts off fine. Blip the throttle at idle and there´s a ready response and a reasonable engine note. though already you can hear that Toyota has concentrated on refinement rather than raw thrills. A light clutch and easy-going gearchange make the T-sport convenient and simple to drive at lower speeds, while completely disguising the rage that lurks higher up the rev range.
But boy, do you have to work at getting to the exciting part. Below 6250RPM, when the variable valve lift phase of the operation kicks into play, the T-sport just chugs along without much enthusiasm or passion. The tourqe happens way too high up the scale to be of any real use and the Toyota is left floundering if you ask for bootfuls of power at anything less than 5000RPM, it´s easy to have doubts about whether you´re in the sportiest Corolla or the diesel.
Just as despair sets in, the T-Sport grows horns as a band of demons steals its soul. The change in character as it comes on cam is so dramatic it shocks the fist time you experience it. As the tacho needle clips 6250RPM, there´s a sudden explosion of sound and energy and the engine note sheds its cloak of refinement and becomes snarly and hardcore, racer-like. The rate of acceleration turns from Sunday rambler to Olympic Linford as the full stable of horsepower goes on rampage.

Fenix
